May 2023- road trip! We ventured all the way to Oklahoma to pick up some very nice Wheaten Marans, and managed to also pick up some from the original breeder of Wheatens. I have 3 very nice males and 5 very nice females, and will be doing some select breeding with them. I also managed to hatch a very nice Blue Wheaten male, and will be putting him over some hens as well. I really like the Wheaten female colouring.. so excited to start working on these birds
